To plug in a monitor first you plug in the power cord to the monitor and then and then the power outlet and then plug in the video cable to the computer, this video cables can be HDMI or VGA. To plug in speakers first you plug the speakers to the power if it requires one, if not you can just find the jack to plug in the cable in round the back of the speakers to the computer tower, then you find two other colour coded sockets, one pink one green, you put the cable from the speakers in the green one as that's the sound socket. For the mouse and Keyboard you put the leads round the back of the computer and into the USB slots. To connect the power to the computer you have to plug in the 'kettle lead' to the back of the computer to the power outlet, the Kettle lead is a big black cable which has a big slot for it in the back of the computer and a plug on the other side for the power outlet. If your computer does not have the capability to acquire a wireless connection you can use an adapter that communicates with the router through the computer allowing a wireless connection. This in future will allow you to play multi-player games online. When you are in a LAN server that means you are playing the game with people within your local area whereas a WAN server allows you to play online games with people from all over the world. |
